Tradstocks – Scottish Stone

Made of Scotland

Tradstocks, Scotland’s major processor of natural stone for construction and hard landscaping, wanted a video to highlight their pre-eminence in the market for locally-sourced Scottish stone.

The majority of Tradstocks stone is sourced from local quarries, cut and dressed by their own masons and delivered using the firm’s specialised vehicles.

It was important for Tradstocks to emphasise that they are processors of stone – not simply merchants – and none of the raw materials are imported from overseas.

Tigershark worked closely with the Tradstocks management and operations teams to capture a flavour of the core stone production processes.

The Tigershark team were fortunate to be able to include shots from a drone camera, giving us some novel camera angles and action sequences.

The Tigershark team were also on hand to capture footage from the Tradstocks open day in August when the company’s new facilities were officially opened by Deputy First Minister of Scotland, Mr John Swinney MSP.
